Here is a bandwidth test from the Starbucks on Hill near the 210 as a comparison to the EVDO test. As you can see, Wifi kicks EVDO in the dirt when it comes to upload speeds. You’re basically looking at a T1 in and out. Pretty impressive.

Here is a bandwidth test from the Starbucks on Hill near the 210. This is the first time I have been able to test EVDO service. Download speeds were very impressive, but the upload was no better than a dialup line. So depending on what you are trying to do, this may or may not work. I’ve found the 1XRTT service pretty available in decent sized towns and it has saved my bacon many times during my travels.
